As the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) issues the individual companies with the collective agreement correction orders, the labor conflicts spread wide.
The labor circle is demanding that regional labor relations commissions should suspend the deliberations on the cases submitted by the MOEL local offices and local governments, because the collective agreement is the result of a voluntary negotiation between the management and trade union. FKTU denounces that the correction order is an administrative power abuse.
The Gyeongbuk Regional Labor Relations Commission reportedly decided not to deliberate the cases and the Pohang City local government is withdrawing the cases. Gyeongju City also follows the suit that it will withdraw 3 cases submitted to the Gyeongbuk Regional Labor Relations Commission.
The FKTU is scheduled to make a protest call on December 21 to the MOEL Poang Local Office which submitted 4 cases of correction order to the Gyeongbuk Regional Labor Relations Commission.
