The accumulated amount of claims for damages lodged by employers against workers for their involvement in labor disputes hit the record high of 186.7 billion won(US$ 164 million) and the amount of provisional seizures reached 18 billion won(US$ 15.8 million), as of the first half of this year.

 

All claims for damages and provisional seizures against workers were lodged during the two former conservative administrations of Lee Myung-bak and Park Geun-hye.
