Following the ouster of the disgraced ex-President Park Geun-hye out of office for her involvement in the corruption scandal colluding with the conglomerates, the Emergency People's Action demanded prosecutors to investigate other accused conglomerate chiefs on bribery charges. Samsung Group's de facto leader Lee Jae-yong has been already arrested on bribery charges.
