The Korean Postal Workers' Union said that in the past five years, 70 postal workers died of overwork, among whom 15 workers committed suicides due to unbearable workload they had to deal with everyday.

The death rate of postal workers caused by overwork is the highest vocation in the public service sector, even higher than that of the police and firefighters.
