Unionized parcel delivery workers with their own vehicles in the cities of Changwon, Gimhae, Gyeongju and Ulsan in Yeongnam region has been refusing the parcel sorting for three weeks now since the end of July which, they claim, takes 7 hours a day and is not paid for the work.
They demanded that the parcel sorting be separated from their work with the new recruits or additional allowance be introduced to pay them for the sorting work done. The union warned that if CJ Logistics does not stop using the directly employed drivers to deliver the parcels, it will take a collective action from July 18.
