The Seoul Metropolitan Government is hosting an international forum in collaboration with the International Labor Organization(ILO), September 5~6 in Seoul, on the subject of "Transforming Cities for Decent Work".

Guy Ryder, ILO Director General, who comes to Seoul to attend the international forum will meet with President Moon Jae-in on September 4 upon his arrival from Geneva apparently to talk over basic labor rights issues in Korea including the ratification of ILO core conventions regarding the freedom of association and right to organize.

Some 30 keynote speakers and panelists representing city governments and institutions home and abroad including ILO are invited to enrich the two-day international forum which is designed to promote decent work in cities and discuss the future of work by sharing the policies and actions taken by city governments.
