The Ministry of Employment and Labor(MOEL) on May 25 made a presentation on the business report to the State Affairs Planning Advisory Committee, de facto presidential transition team for President Moon Jae-in.

MOEL's report focused on the problem of precarious employment and the measures for the reduction of working hours and the minimum wage hike which were included in the President Moon's election campaign pledges.

While requesting MOEL to adapt to the policy direction of the new administration, Rep. Han Jeong-ae in the labor division of the State Affairs Planning Advisory Committee demanded MOEL to rescind two controversial administrative guidelines on general dismissals and rules of employment.
