Hong Young-pyo is a lawmaker of the ruling Democratic Party of Korea(DPK) and the chairman of the Environment and Labor Committee of the National Assembly.

Moon Sung-hyun is the former president of KCTU metal union federation and the former chairman of the Democratic Labor Party and currently the co-chairman of DPK's labor committee.

Lee Yong-deok is a lawmaker of the ruling Democratic Party of Korea(DPK) and the former FKTU president(three times) and the former executive member of the supreme council of the Democratic Party in charge of labor.

Sim Sang-jung is the chairwoman of the minor opposition Justice Party and ran for the May 9 presidential election as the nominee of the Justice Party.
