FKTU president Kim Joo-young and the main opposition DPK chairwoman Choo Mi-ae held a meeting on February 14 where FKTU demanded Rep.

Choo to deal with labor agendas during the extraordinary session of the National Assembly in February by adopting a resolution to stop the regressive labor reforms having been pursued by the Park Geun-hye government and passing the amendments of labor-related laws including the 'minimum wage act'.

DPK Chairwoman Choo stressed an important role of FKTU in solidarity with the DPK to change the government which will be a short-cut to the establishment of a society respecting labor and valuing the basics through the means of stamping out the deep-rooted evils.
