14 cleaning service workers will lose their jobs from January 1 next year. It seems that the retrenchment takes place due to the contract termination of a cleaning maintenance service company which expires by the end of this year, but unfair labor practice is suspected as 12 of 14 retrenched workers are unionized workers and the sourcing company, Maintrans does not arrange the employment succession for them. The newly contracted cleaning service maintenance company is currently recruiting new workers.
